The YAS Foundation strengthens connections to Persian heritage by partnering with museums and other institutions devoted to sharing knowledge, bridging communities and keeping Persian history alive.

The Foundation’s Cultural Connections initiatives aim to foster understanding and appreciation of Persian creativity and contributions surrounding poetry, art and literature. From the timeless words of the 13th Century poet Rumi to the global adoration of the rose — first cultivated in Persia’s Faristan province around 810 B.C. — Persian tradition comes alive through displays, exhibitions, festivals and cultural events supported by the YAS Foundation.

Through its Cultural Connections program, the Foundation is dedicated to promoting awareness of and appreciation for the arts by supporting museums and cultural centers. The Foundation also works to broaden understanding of Persian heritage by supporting events including annual Nowruz (Persian New Year) festivals.
